A sampling of the many notes arriving with monetary donations

MedAssets customer:

"Our department of St. Vincent's Health is called Charge Master and Billing Compliance. We were looking for ways to assist Katrina victims when we received Lisa's (Riding) email. Two things drew us to pooling our monies together and forwarding them to you for management: 1) that the monies would help the hosptials and their associates and 2) that our contribution would be doubled by MedAssets. Please relay to the victims that our prayers are with them."

MedAssets employee:

"I think the level of support the company is giving to relief efforts is terrific. Thanks for all of your work in organizing this campaign. Ten dollars is donated by our children ($5 by Cole, $3 by Alexandra, and $2 by our three year old, Carly - on loan from Alex.)

MedAssets affiliate:

"It is our privilege to join forces with MedAssets in helping to raise the necessary funding to continue providing supplies and equipment to Ochsner."

MedAssets friend:

"I understand that MedAssets will match my contribution for flood relief for victims of Katrina. Anything that comes to me from USMA is as good as gold as far as I am concerned. I received your info from (a Major) in the USAF. He and I know each other well."
